    Help from fellow tokers?!

    What techniques would you use if you moved to an entirely different state and no one you work with or live with/around smoke?

    Just moved to Fairfax county, Northern Virginia Fairfax county and seems like I've extinguished all avenues for a hookup. My work is suffering from lack of creativity been since June.

    Should I just try to hit up some clubs in DC and risk getting arrested or am I missing something much easier? Any help would be very appreciated!

      does it really suck that bad in the states? if i'm ever anywhere that i don't know anyone i just start asking anyone who looks like they might be a bakecase. i usually got a hit within the first 3 or 4 people i ask. goto the skate park or something, that's usually my first stop.

      this approach might not work if you're in the 25+ age range i dunno. might come across as a narc yourself, lol. but thats what i do...

          I'm not sure what to tell you specifically, but I can tell you that DC/NOVA is a very 420-filled place, even in the most white-bread yuppy areas, its just kept a lot more under wraps than in other cities.

          Get into some likely "social settings" and feel your way carefully around until you find a good circle. Plenty of music-scenes in dc and even in nova that are filled with obviously enthusiastic friendly folks.

                      my advice - hang at a local bar - get to know people - you will find out who smokes and such - worked for me in the past ...

                              I didn't realize it was so hard to find weed. I worked on the road for years, and it usually didn't take me longer than a few hours to have a hook up in any town I rolled into. Seriously, just start asking people who look like they'd probably smoke weed...

                                      I moved to Florida and met someone in line at the DMV on the the second day there.

                                      Soon after, I caught the neighbor getting high in the backyard.

                                          haha thats good timing, I've met a few of my neighbors they aren't really the smoking type. The others are Mexican they could probably smoke but I'm not really up on my Spanish

                                              Be careful. Mexicans can be a lot more conservative as far as mj goes. My boyfriend is from a Mexican family who drink like there's no tomorrow, but view people who do mj as being on the same level as crackheads.

                                                  Yeah I supervise a group of Hispanics at my day job and not one smokes MJ, they love their beer but not really anything stronger and they say MJ makes them loco

Thats what I did when I got to Cali and I had a hookup 5 minutes after my post. For that, I say a big thank you.... you know who you are.

                                                                              I have got a few people icq'ing me as well but no one has stepped forward stating they are from this area, I haven't found many people in the Fairfax, VA or DC region in the time I've been a member of this site. Hopefully someone will prove me wrong I'm a friendly guy, love to smoke with friends, don't have that many in this area yet.. Hopefully that could change!

                                                                                      lol from what i hear though va/dc is much different from cali. out here in cali i can find weed even when im not looking for it. out there i hear its tough to even come by shit i wouldn't even consider weed.

                                                                                      but id imagine if you hit up a few bars or something it wouldn't be that hard to find a hook up.

He let us, my friend gave him a bud for later, since he didn't want to smoke while working. Then about 5-10 minutes later, the driver saw another fellow cab driver and flagged him down with his arm out the window to pull over. So we pull over on the side of the road and the driver of our cab gets out, says a couple things to the other driver, then comes back and tells us to ride with the other cabbie. I thought that was extremely weird and thought we were about to get into some shit, either taken to the po station or ripped off. But, got dropped off at the right spot, paid normal fair+tip and that was that.
