if i play one more cookie cutter military strategy game i'm going to blow my own fucking head off. yes the games look great, but god damn they are all the same thing, over and over and over. there are a pile of games out that are way better than call of duty 4...

They are both good games. I was showing both games to my cousin's little kids on Thanksgiving and they were scared and freaked out by Bioshock, but thought it was cool. I like both on the PC with an Xbox 360 controller for Windows.

How easy was it to set up the 360 controller for COD4 on the PC?
I tried to get one to work with Battlefield2 on the PC and couldn't map all the keys and gave up
I am shocked Bioshock one for one reason alone and that is the simple fact it did not have online capabilities like Halo 3 and COD4. I thought the one player aspect was fantastic and can only imagine how cool the game would have been had it had some online maps. Next years GOTY is going to be GTA4 hands down. This game is gonna be amazing. http://www.rockstargames.com/IV/trailer_splash.html

You need a third party program called Xpadder for games like COD4. Google it and download it. Then you can get any gamepad to work with any game. Some games have built in support for the 360 controller(I think they are labeled Games for Windows - Bioshock, Crysis, Gears of War,etc.) and then it's like playing on the 360.
I really think one thing BioShock had going for it was the visuals. If you stopped bashing people on the head for a minute and looked around it was pretty nice.
Personally I just loved TKing bodies around and using them as bullet shields and weapons.

multiplayer would be nice, but the game is so awesome anyway, it deserved to win. I rarely get addicted to a single player campaign of a FPS, because they are usually all the same, just keep shooting things. I love the wacky setting, visuals and sound effects of this game though. The plasmids are pretty cool. All the crazy things the little sisters and splicers, etc. say in their crazy voices make it great. Kill him Mr. B... My stomach is empty!

Yes, the visuals are fantastic and the sounds are even better IMO.
