Big fan's of this family...the kids act a little brattish, but the dad really is a go getter...constantly trying new things...improving old things...whatever to keep his life interesting...and I guess profitable.

I think the kids are acting like kids, they seem to have great respects for eachother, less for their parents, but kids will be kids. When push comes to shove it seems they have their priorities in order though.

The few times I watched it, it really seemed that they dissed their "normal" kid quit a bit. Seemed like he was almost being punished for not being little. I do not know, maybe I just caught the wrong episodes.

The dad Matt is a crazy workaholic and got built some crazy shit on his farm like a ghost town, a sick tree house, zip line... he's got it all

.

He salvaged all the wood for his projects by getting old barns knocked down that where not used or ready to fall down.

I think is work ethic and ingenuity in the face everyday challenges to be something anyone in any industry should appreciate.

I'm addicted to that show, haven't missed any eposides. The reason I like it is because despite their challenges, they keep going forward. They don't let anything stand in their way! It shows that when you think things are bad in your daily life, think about how people with challenges deal with it and you'll realize your life isn't bad. It shows persistence, work ethic and family are the key to success
