When I got divorced, I got to keep our son and bedroom furniture. He got to keep the business we started and grew together, which he proceeded to run into the ground. We were ordered to share marital debt which I ended up having to pay 100% of or risk ruining my credit. Now he doesn't pay taxes or child support and the legal system is no help whatsoever. This mode of thinking that the woman gets to "keep everything" is totally inaccurate and unfair. In my case, it turned out to be the reverse.
