    How come no one is talking about the British troops?

    They have video footage of British troops beating the crap out of some Iraqi teens, how come there is not more outrage on GFY about it?

    You know if they were American troops it would generate a 6 page thread by now.

                                      It hit the news at the wrong time.. CNN has been playing their "CNN Presents" all day about how the government lied and misled everyone about the reasons to go to war in Iraq. So the british thing just doesn't seem as important maybe?

                                              I did not say there was anything wrong with it. I suggested that if it were American troops that retaliated to rock throwing with an ass kicking, GFY would be all over it.

                                                                  The truth is, I just just can't get worked up about something like that. You take a bunch of young guys, give them guns, pump them up and bad shit will happen especially since a lot of the young guys are going to have checkered pasts.

                                                                  Now if it was directed by some higher ups, then that's a different thing.

                                                                      If they aren't allowed to put lead in the kneecaps of those throwing rocks they can at least give them a good old ass whooping. What if it were grenades being thrown instead of something less lethal?

                                                                              Insurgents blow coalition troops (civilians...women & children) to smithereens on a daily basis. Fanatical muslims burn embassies, cause riots and advocate the killing of cartoonists.

                                                                              So a few British troops dish out some good 'ole fashioned shit-kicking in the streets.
