I just came back from there, and man the place needs work..
They have no front end product..
Unreal............
I gotta find out what im gunna put in the front end....
There is a tanning salon next door, and a TaeKwonDo place.
Im thinking of making open for all ages to enter, and having a seprate gambling room in the back for no minors........
At the moment the entire establishment is no minors...
But I think we are losing a market here.
I can still server alchol and have the poker machines, just in a seprate lounge area. No need to make the whole place over 21..

Gambling and poker Revenue:
December 2005: $25,583, NET was $7,419. That is 29%..
And thats with NO FRONT END........
Im thinking thats not bad.. But could be better.
I need ideas to make this better.

I would go with a loose leaf green tea variety too.
The Tea shop called the Tea zone in the pearl is always packed it is on like 11th or 12th and I think Glisan or within a block of that.

go for the Portland crowd. maybe good pizza by the slice as well.
What part of town is it in, that should effect your menu as well as the people of the different sides of town are different ( gresham , Big Burgers and good drafts) downtown inner SE organic health foods , Tualatin california fare or sushi, etc....... no one knows the Portland dempgraphics better than you, so make it something that will fit in that particular side of town. The ones down at Saturday market are a good place to start. They always look for places to sell stuff at. ( that way you can ave all your own sports stuff for just in the back. and it will bring all their friends in the begining to look at your place. Take a page out of the Al pacion Movie, and have a board where you give betting advice for free. ( dont offer a spread) and never ever accept a bet out of there , but you can have the vegas line ( or better yet the portland line -- you get the Parlay cards too right ? ) and add injury reports ( public knowledge, and Bonepriones pick ) etc..... get known for the sports betting.
The machines will get play. have Plasma screens on the wall showing the games
and cheerleaders serving the food/drinks during games. of course Buy the NHL, NFL ,NBA ticket packages, offer trailblazer or ducks/ beavers give aways.
and offer advice on those games as well as imformative info .
