    Best & Worst Beer Thread ....

    I find that I pretty much only drink Corona if I am drinking beer wherever I am in the world.....

    It's not the best IMHO, that goes to an old New Zealand ale called Rheineck (?), which I do not even know if thye make anymore.

    Worst beer ?

    Southwark... a dodgy by product of the sheep industry from South Australia.

    Wouldn't feed it to pigs.

      I love Nastro Azzurro and Stellas,no offense to the Americans but I don't like their beer..reminds me of lite beer and too watery

                          Well, my liver is so fucked up I can't drink anymore, but when I could drink...

                          The best beers I've tried: Bohemian (from Mexico), Macabee (from Israel), and Heineken (not the version available in the USA, the version you can get in the Netherlands).

                          The Bottom Three: Iron City (Light or otherwise), Schaeffer (which is thankfully extinct), and worst of all... Genessee Cream Ale (but we drank it in college in Rochester, NY where it's manufactured, because we could get a pitcher for $1.)

                              Favorite domestic: Coors Light or Killian's Irish Red (formerly Coors Red Light)

                              Favorite import: Tough choice but I have to say Belhaven or St Andrews (I like Scottish beers most).

                                  The Corona imported to the US doesn't taste like the Corona sold in Mexico. The Corona sold in Mexico is MUCH better (as are most of the Mexican beers there)

                                              I've grown to like San Miguel Beer here in the Philippines.

                                              Worse I've had here is Red Horse, I don't know what they put in that stuff, but you feel it all the next day!

                                                      Even the Corona we drink here in Australia is much better than the US version.

                                                      But the Mexican version is pretty good.

                                                                          Typically I drink Killian's Red, although we recently started getting Erdinger, a German wheat beer down here, and that is hands down my favorite. But the store that is carrying it is slated to be torn down to build a condo (it happens in Florida). Next closest wheat beer availble around here would be Blue Moon (that's put out by Coors as well).

                                                                          Worst has to be Budweiser or Bud light. Of course you have the VERY bottom of the barrel with stuff like Old Milwakee and Pabst Blue Ribbon.

                                                                                                          Rheineck (yes you had it spelt right) was popular here in New Zealand back in the early nineties. It's made now but hard to get - there is not much demand for it.
