- overselling (specialy bad when it comes to Virtual Hosting), its quite easy to spot how are promising what they cant deliver tho;
- calling premium BW providers to...well..."average" networks;
- using crap hardware...;
- don't invest into the network (using shit routers...);
- Having monkeys in charge of tech-support that take ages even to reboot a server;
- Use Datacenters that look like dumpsters;
- Have basic know-how in case of emergency (comprised servers, DDOS);
- informercial type of offerings
