    Odd thing about college students I have noticed...

    They will slave away feverishly hour after hour on a report or project, that they already did perfectly, in order to simply get a piece of paper that they fully admit really doesn't mean much... and yet, they have an impossible time doing actual money earning work because for some reason they feel above that.

    Very strange.

    Has anybody else seen this or do I know too many overachievers?

      Ehhh, I've heard this complaint from plenty of people but most of the times I find it's a blind assumption. Typically people like me co-op during their school years and get the "real work" experience along with their academic learning and I don't know anyone including myself that has ever appeared to be above that.

      Although I will say that there are plenty of people in college who think they're going to be making 80k right out of the gate with that "piece of paper".

          Well, hard to say what the future holds. For some of them that's true, and for others it will pay off. It's a toss up these days of not what you know -- but who you know.
