Regardless of your political persuasion (I imagine liberal on this board, at least in civil liberties), The US is at a cross roads. The American Spirit and America have become two separate things.
A easy example for anyone with a open and stable mind:
1, freedom of expression is a PRINCIPLE. Even if that FREEDOM of expression is aimed at burning the American Flag (which I would Never DO, and do NOT approve of, personally) If you take the PRINCIPLE away for one act, all other freedoms are put at risk - including porn.
I must admit, I think from time to time, with the shit I download, intentionally and unintentionally, what would happen if my hard drive was examined by a sexually frustrated prosecutor.
Is this a free country, REALLY. At the very least, the lines have become blurred.
