    bank deposit question

    Is it possible to see which individual checks you deposited after the fact?

    i.e. I cashed 20 checks last week and forgot if I deposited the check from "Joe Smith".

    Is it possible to see each individual check cashed?

      Banks mail you the original check back after cleared. In Canada, our bank lets you download and view images of the cashed check to avoid paperwork!

          Depends on your bank. I can see everything online as soon as it clears.

              You can have all your own checks mailed back to you after they clear.

              But I to can view each check deposited online. But only for 60 days, anything older then that and I have to actually go to the bank.
              I photocopy all checks befor going to the bank though.

                          They mail you the check from another company that you deposited??? I don't think so, I am pretty sure the company that wrote the check gets their check back, it's a form of receipt. I know I get all my checks back after someone deposits them.

                                  i know bank of america allows you to see scans of your checks. at least thats what i remember

                                              No banks mail you back someone else's check, so that's not going to help him.
