Boyfriends really have a way of diverting attention away from the model/photographer relationship and that slows down the process. yes, same experience here. that's a deal killer for me.
when boyfriend wants to "help" direct and thinks he knows what you want you waste lots of time.
tons of throw away shots while girl keeps looking at whoever talks to her---doubles or triples the shoot time.Comment

boyfriends are a huge pain in the ass. no photographer wants them around - and it's not so they can be alone to hit on the model usually. as you say - the model is distracted and the photographer can't do his best work with somebody over his shoulder. this bf has been told he stays in the hotel, can't be present at the actual shoots.Originally posted by DeanCaptureHope that doesn't present a problem for ya'.
