It's actually a really old story, but I truly enjoyed the movie. It is amazing how far 3D technology has come...I can remember seeing Friday the 13th Part 3 in 3D in theaters and being incredibly disappointed. The scene at the end where he fought his son (the dragon) was breathtaking, as was the 3D version of Angelina Jolie. I saw a few more previews for 3D movies before Beowulf that really intrigued me, especially the 3D U2 concert... -

Why would you download this? Firstly, you're ripping off the artists and making it harder for them to put out future works.
Secondly, you're mistaken if you think that watching an AVI is 1/10 the experience of seeing this with 3D glasses in IMAX.
This was an incredible experience, that ranks up there with some of the most amazing things I've seen in my life. The acting by malkovich and Winstone was pretty awesome.Comment

I read the book in high school and was expecting it to be kid oriented so I had no desire to see it. My roomate eventually dragged my ass to the imax to see it, and I am so glad he did. I was completely blown away.LisaComment

I saw it in IMAX 3D and holy shit, it was great. The 3D that is.
