I was speaking a muslim friend... he first said "They need to die, they mocked the prophet". After a simple smack in the head he changed his tone "Well they are going a bit crazy. It's just a cartoon."

When you have an absolutely shitty existence, you cling onto anything just to make you get thru the day.


The Muslims you see jumping around and screaming have nothing better to do.

They are too stupid to see that by their primitive reactions they are validating the cartoons that offend them.

One independent newspaper prints 12 cartoons of muhammed of which a few of them, but not all, are negative. What does that have to do with the other 5 million people living in Denmark? What does that have to do with Arla, Lego etc? Nothing!

The problem is you can't reason with Muslims. If you could, they wouldn't be Muslim.

If they had of just kept quiet about it there would be no media focus on the cartoons whatsoever. Now because they all freaked out like idiots the whole world knows about how some cartoonist poked fun at their precious prophet and the uber-childish way they have reacted to it.

They need more education over there in Muslimville. With more education comes higher incomes, and with higher incomes comes toys for the home such as big screen TV's, DVD players, home theatre systems, computers, laptops, console gaming etc. With all that comes a reason to STAY THE FUCK HOME instead of running amok in the streets like they do.

Simplistic, yes, but also quite true. When is the last time any of us set fire to a church? Now answer this.... when is the last time any of us were online or watched a DVD or played Halo? I rest my case. :D

AHAHAHHAHAHA - No shit. I've had this exact same thought everytime I've pulled up Drudge for the last week and had to see a new headline story about this bullshit.

We all understand these types of cartoons. we recognise them as being satire, poking fun at a situation etc. etc. etc. but perhaps in that region, cartoons are meant to incite passions, to degrade and humiliate the characters, not as something "fun" or "humurous"... It all comes down to understanding and accepting different points of views and cultures. Until that happens we'll keep on killing each other.

How many of you walk into a prominently black area and start calling people the N word? Because of the history of what's happened in the US with black people, the rest world is forced to accept that we can't use that word. How many people get worked up when some other culture talk negatively about the holocust? It's the same type of thing.

Their lack of education isn't my fault, nor is it Denmark's fault. Their ignorance about the world and it's different forms of humor is their problem. Making excuses for it isn't helping the matter, it is lending their mindless mob reaction a credence it doesn't deserve.

Using the N word toward blacks or denying the holocaust happened aren't even close to being the same thing as this. For one thing, in looking back over the past 35 years of newscasts I've seen of the activities of extremist Muslims in the Middle East I would say that poking a little fun at their penchance for terrorism, suicide bombings, and raging out of control in their streets over every perceived slight is absolutely the least of what they deserve. Can you not understand that or do I need to ask you politely to get your head out of your ass?

Back to your two less than fine examples, I'll try to put a more relevant spin on them...

As for your other example, yes, people do tend to get offended when some idiot spouts off about denying the holocaust happened or of minimizing it's importance. However, what you don't see are people getting so offended that they pull the kinds of irrational acts that these Muslim fuckheads are pulling.

The beauty of all this.. Is that it's playing into EXACTLY what the fanatics want and people like you are allowing them to win and to incite more muslim hatred of western society (Do a search and some reading on exactly what Bin Laden and that group really want). And yet you and others like you don't see it or choose not to. We don't want them to dicate how we live our lives.. They don't want us to dictate how they live theirs. We both want the other side to respect our beliefs, freedoms and cultures. Either both sides respect each other and learn to live together or we kill each other. History has taught us that there is no middle ground once "zeal" (fanatasism) gets involved.

PS. Look back to the "race" riots in CA in "recent' history (Rodney King for example). Muslims are not the only ones getting offended and pulling "irrational acts".

I think it is because for so many Arabs..religion IS their life. They are literally born into it..quickly indoctrinated, find it as their ONLY hope (for many at least) in a fairly miserable life, and actually do take it as an afront when something THEY (not us..remember, we always want to think it is about US) consider sacred is blasphemed.

I understand that so many in the Western world don't get their violent protests..I understand that based on OUR religious or moral values, it's no big thing. All I am saying is that for SOME at least..not all those that are protesting, but for a great many, it is a very real slap in the face for them.
