Good luck and get more eyeballs on this.
For example and I am serious take that 20 bucks and 20 or so sales and buy a slot on The Hun. It will yield more exposure and repeat this on a few different hi profile portals.

I think it would be a sound investment to promote the project where more eyes will see it.
      Good thoughts. Thanks.

The thing is I doubt everyone here donates to every charity that asks for money. The bottom line is that I doubt 99% of the people on this board couldnt afford to donate $20 to every charity that asked them for money.

Seriously, it's not for packaging purposes as I'm sure it's generic packaging.

I have kids and prefer not to have any porn dvds in the house.

In case I haven't mentioned it already in this thread. The current store and fullfillment is being donated by http://www.dvdsuperstar.com/ !!!

LOL.... as far as "avail for download" goes, what do you mean? Like a PPV program? I'd hate to lose 50% of the donations to the portal.

Or if I put it online ourselves, any encoding guidelines? One big-ass divx file or something? Or break it up? Or find a service to rip the DVD?

downloadable would be a nice option.

Quite frankly, I think the "guilt trip" in this thread is pretty lame. How could you possibly insinuate that the industry is "bad" or people "don't care" simply because they didn't buy the DVD? That is just short of absolutely retarded.

With that said, I just ordered my copy of the DVD. Not because I believe in a cause, not because I wanted to donate to charity, and not because I wanted to feel good about myself... but because I wanted to see Vanilla, Elli, and tASSy doing dirty things on my 60" TV. There, I said it, I'm a surfer! Ban me now!

I think its great that you're trying to do something good and we need a lot more people like yourself in the world, but I already did my part for Hurricane Katrina and it was for a lot more than $20.

Honestly, I felt bad about the tone after I posted. I was frustrated in the moment (and tassy was around so I couldn't kick the dog.)

As this is a project for charity, I would think that a lot of sites would mention it if you wrote something up as a press release and asked them to post it as an article.

There have to be lots of people here with their own PPV sites that could put your video up and eamark the proceeds for the charity, for those who don't want to buy a DVD. If its for a charity, perhaps one of the drm providers might also be willing to help out with this?

You would be surprised at the number of folks that agree with me on things. I might be a tough pill to swallow but as people come to know me they acquire a certain taste. However I have a wretched after taste for the unskilled mind that is lazy.

At anyrate its a taste Veterans begin to appreciate as they grow in the biz

I noticed you did up a small blog post in this thread.

If you put together a couple different nice blog posts, I would put one up on my blog.

maybe something with a little bit of graphics in it...banner? half page ad maybe??
