Jaco is pretty much the best place in costa rica IMO, but manuel antonio is very nice as well, theres monkeys everywhere. Id recommend si como no for a nice hotel there http://www.sicomono.com/. Quepos is near by and has some nightclubs or theres a huge party on the beach in manuel anotnio every fri sat nights.

There is also an airport in quepos so you can get back to san jose for like 75 bucks instead of the 4-5 hour drive.

will be in jaco on friday and sat, and hopefully somewhere else near on sun mon tues wed. the show is thurs -sun. good suggestion btw.

Go sportfishing, its rediculous there... the marriot in jaco has the best charters... dolphin everywhere and you'll catch at least 5 fish if not more

thats a sick idea. i wonder if they will black ice and ship the fish back if i want? i doubt it. fucking agriculture and customs regs prob will snag my fish.

There are so many places....Monteverde(Rain Forest), Arenal Volcano(Hot springs), Corcovado(Awesome park and good beaches for surf), all the beaches in Guanacaste. The best part is in all those places you can do adventure sports. Actually Costa Rica is considered the number 1 place for adverture tourism at the moment.

You gotta be joking, it's my least favorite spot... There's so many beautiful beach towns in Guanecaste and Quepos, although personally I love the Carribbean coast...

Yo! we're staying longer also. We speak Spanish and "blend in" if you get my drift. We got invited to a nude swing resort, and might go to Panama City afterward.

i used to speak fluent spanish. i guess living in miami for 3 years and southern cali for 7 helps, then i went to brasil for a year and the portuguese destroyed it. i still speak both enough for a literate conversation. i'll jsut be spanglish for that trip, i have no fear. the good part for me is with as much immerision i have had in brasil, extended mexico trips, and so cal and miami, i'm pretty comfortable. we'll see. dialects normally are what throws me. verb conjugations tend to be different no matter where i go that speaks spanish.
