I don't think they're going to look for it, but i think when they find it, they'll stay for longer at a site that has it. The majority of member's areas are absolutely disgusting. The way tours blatantly lie about shit is an outrage. They claim DVD quality videos and you get some 320 x 240 pixel piece of shit that you have to squint to watch if you decide to view it in full screen. I would think members would retain better with a higher file quality. I wouldn't say you'd NEED to go as far as high def.
