it is a rush and great experience. words cannot adequately describe it. you will feel like you are floating and not falling due to the lack of reference points. i did my first jump which was an unattached free fall for 45 seconds (12,000 to 3,500') in the late 70's. then you had to have FAA approval to do a free fall on your initial jump. you will probably be hooked to your instructor for the jump or do a static line. it will be a great time. good luck and enjoy!

I have 6 line jumps and 19 freefalls done. Fun and scary at the same time. Enjoy!Around since 1997, and the company that introduced "Cascading Billing" in MPA3® Affiliate Management and Tracking Software

I went once before, and really loved it.
The best part was when one of the friends that came with me turned and said "This is first time I've ever been in a plane".
The worst part was when they opened the door and the overwhelming stench of shit came wafting to the back of the plane, because one of the first people up shit their pants. I'll bet it was worse for the instructor that had to go tandem with that guy though....Comment

I really enjoyed my first (and so far last) tandem jump. But it you have ever gotten motion sickness in your life, I recommend you take a Dramamine pill.
My instructor was pulling on the handles and making roller coaster turns, I told him to quit it before I yacked on all the people down below in the landing area.Comment
