End of Amysworld.com (advice welcomed)

I am closing or transferring www.amysworld.com on Jan 1st. I am moving on after 6 years. My focus is elsewhere. Any advice, ideas, propositions welcomed. I am just waiting for my Designated Driver to wake up and take me back to my home so I thought I would ask for advice on what to do now.

-6 year consistant site
-www.hotcamgirls.com (I own)
-Will appear as a face/ name on the site but not as a full personality if you wanted to keep it going
-Not necessarily getting out of the industry, just leaving the site
-Will appear elsewhere on other sites if wanted and are in the LA area to shoot (paid per shoot)

Well I WAS going to post some pics but my MAC knowlege is not up to par (I am SO PC!) Learning though

I will be around for another hour here and I'll check in and when I get home in a few hours, I'll post some pics to make the thread worth it.

Well Im sure you could either sell your mailing list or at least learn to milk it yourself.

Then you could also license out all of your own content and prolly turn a nice coin that way too.

I guess what I am saying is to milk the site and sell off or get every penny out of each piece. Unless of course someone comes along who would be willing to take over and then hire you constantly to do updates and hope your willing to not burn them or flake out. (nothing against you there personally, just a common behavior)

well the major problem i see is ....you're only "average" looking

and for the $ or % you might want to get out of your site, a perfect 10 girl could be shot & a site developed around it

your major selling point would be your live shows/personality & thats what you want to get out of....i hate to say it, but i think your moves are limited

Alright I just counted... here's what I got...

-TONS of archived show (around 2 a week from camz and member shows) for the last 2 years

How much "running the site" do you really have to do? Why not just pull back your involvement in the site, pics, vids and cam shows. Sure you will lose some membership with no cam shows and updates, but at least you will have some revenue coming in and a few new sales from all of the outstanding links. I guess you could sell it, but as Pr0 said, the main selling point is your interaction with your members.

Amy if I were you, I would just keep the site, but cut down your involvement with it dramatically like lazycash said. Just add 1 update a week (or something), even if you are just recycling stuff. You might have to redo the tour to make it obvious it's not so interactive, but I really think that is your best option if you're not looking to get out of adult entirely. Partnering up with people rarely works out IMO.

I am running out to Brentwood to pick up friends and will be out for most of the night. If you need me ICQ me (I am going to be around on there now consistantly until my site closes).

I am done with all that is running or keeping up/ maintaining a site.

I want to ban everyone in my cam shows, I hate answering emails from "fans", and have been getting shit now because I am single from my members about my social life. I am over it. Not to mention the temptation to be immature and stupid on here.... I want to move on.

Make me an offer ... I am entertaining all possibilities until mid Dec. Then I will make a decision.

Back to a normal, online-less life. LA is too much fun to be in the house all the time!

I also have a business plan for something that I can do after this... with a financial backer so I am not worried about the money I am getting from my site.

Most solo sites do not have the model active in the site anymore so thats not much of an issue. But unfortunately with your track record of moving programs and changing your mind, most established programs wouldn't touch the site with a 10 ft pole.
