This isn't a brand new stretch of road. It looks to be US-60 which runs nice and straight through Mesa for about 15 miles. The curve he is starting out on is in Apache Junction out toward Gold Canyon. They play one of the LPGA events out there. Mesa has a population of over 450,000 people and even at 2 or 3 in the morning those cars he is passing are citizens on the road, not people that are controlling the traffic.

It appears that he ran it East of town as I caught one of the off-ramps as Power Road. No other freeway here in town is straight enough to go that fast in that location.

This is a public freeway, not closed off at any time of day. Stupid fucking stunt. Idiotic thing to do. I hope the cops impound the car and he gets a huge fucking fine.
