People who are afraid of dying, even though they don't admit it because they've never been close to dying yet!, when young.. they don't give a dam about anything, but when their time approaches 50-60+ y/o they inevitably start getting more and more religious/spiritual ..... I've seen it many times (and I'm only in my 20's) ... people tend to look for a higher power since they just can't imagine that death is the absolute end of their existence, in order for (most) people to keep good mental health they need some sort of hope.....

I'm not trying to sell any religious idea here since I don't roll with a specific religion, this is pure observation which I'd like to call the "The final syndrome" ....it is still a theory but at the rate it's going it might as well become a law...

...yeah, I know and knew a lot of "old folks".....
