by the way... to enlighten you a little more... I would say there are more rednecks that drive gas guzzlers here, then the "yanks" do. Rednecks buy big trucks, becuase they are homophobic. They think if they buy a car, someone might think they are gay.
Someone DID point out the fact that the UTE has the same body styling as the GTO, and some of us "yanks" know who Holden is.
I like the UTE. If and when i move to NZ for a long period of time, I might buy me one.

That "4 door mustang" shown on the other page might look a bit similar in design to the late 80s mustangs in the US, but it was just how everyday Australian and NZ Falcons looked. There were probably 150,000 of them made from around 1985 to 1988. All came out as standard 250ci six cylinders, and were a pretty uninspiring car all round.
Google for "XF Falcon" and you'll find plenty about them.Comment

El Camino wasn't made by Ford. Ford made the Ranchero and Chevy made the El Camino to compete.
The car in the first post isn't a Ranchero. They stopped making Rancheros in 1979. The pic isn't a photochop either. This car was custom made by someone. It's a mode of a Mustang and a Ranger.Comment
