i bought one like this and i was wondering if anyone knows how you're supposed to change the sand paper on it? i rented on a long tim ang and the paper was circular and just slid on, but this is different.
Anyone ever use hardwood floor sanding machines?

The paper for that type comes in a continious roll, you need to cut it to suit the drum size, you slip one end in first then fold it around the drum and connect the other end.
I think the two bolts visable in that picture are whats used to lock the paper in but I can't recall.
Be carefull that you dont have a ridge left where the paper joins or you will get chattering markes left on the floor boardsComment

when you twist those two bolts it should spread the drum for the paper to be clamped under.
I have seen some like that one that have a steel bar go across the drum to hold the paper, the drum is tapered where the bar sits so it doesn't hit the floor.Comment
