lol good point! I think it originates from the English gentry and the long test matches that usually go for 5 days! the match they are playing atm is limited over 50 overs each, all played in one day, so it's faster and no time for tea breaks. the south africans still have to bat and they ned almost 7 runs per over to win!Originally posted by JuiceMonkey

For all you Americans, it takes 5 days to complete a test match. What you say, 5 days for a game. If you saw some of the guys playing, you would understand why it takes 5 days and even then, the games are mostly a draw.
