          Not that I know of. But if you ask a range for a private outing I am sure it could be arranged. Most of the desert is ok to discharge firearms as long as its a safe area and you legally own the firearms. I think its illegal to shoot cacti though.

                  I went to the "Gun Store" last time I was there. Shot an AK47, Mp5, M4, Thompson, Desert eagle .50, and an M249 SAW.

                  It wasn't outside in the desert, but it was still fun as hell. Expensive though. One Ak clip was like 50 bucks. they've got a real racket going there.

                      there is a range right here on Blue Diamond & Decatur. I believe they can take you out in the desert as well.

                                      There's a place we go it's about 1/4 mile past the Mt. Charleston turnoff...the forestry people don't bother us or the others that go out there every weekend.

                                      It's on the right side of the free way, you can drive down into some canyon like areas, and you'll see everything people have been shooting at over the last couple of years.
