whats your opinion on shooting stills while video is being shot?
It's a total distraction and silly, in my opinion. The only time it really works is if you treat it as a "behind the scenes" thing, and then only if it's really good content...like after the facial, and you can tell the model doesn't like it.
That sort of thing.
And you're welcome! I hope I could help some people out today!
You said you use the Canon GL2, my question(s) is this; What settings do you use on it as far as shooting mode I.E. easy, auto, manual etc. What movie mode do you think is best to shoot in, normal or frame? Do you adjust your Color Gain, Color Phase or Sharpness any or do you just leave them as they came from the factory? If you do adjust them, what adjustments do you recommend on them? Thanks..

I remember meeting you one evening at Sugar Daddies a few years ago 'just' prior to the 'smut mouth' concept, loved it then, love it now...
Billy's a funny man with straight up, no shitting around concept(s) that cracked me up...

I leave it on the "P" mode, which allows me to adjust white balance. I also shoot in frame, cause I can grab caps better in frame mode, and I don't have such a deinterlacing mess on my hands in post production.
I don't fuck with anything else...I leave all settings as they came from the factory, but I'm shooting in very consistant lighting situations that don't call for me to worry about that.
