Get real, we don't know the name of that person, don't know its birth place, birth date, have only made-up witnesses.... although we know where the Sun as unique God came from: Egypt. It's no coincidence if all three religions Islam Judaism and Christianity were all born in this part of the globe. It was adopted by Arab rulers and Roman rulers, spread through the Arab and European worlds.
I browsed the Wikipedia entry of Jesus Christ, all the sources are so not credible! What a fraud! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus
It's so FAKE.
Jesus Christ is based on reality indeed, it's based on Astronomy. Primitive humans worship the Sun for milleniums, and still do via Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ= The Sun.
What's gonna fucking difficult to understand?
The Church is so fucking scared of people telling the truth, i understand them though, it's doesnt take a genius to figure out why no Christian Church will ever admit that Christianity is a fraud and hundreds of millions of Europeans died for....... nothing.
Christianity began with the deportation of Hebrews/Jews and ended with the Holocaust.

Yes the question between jesus the individual and jesus the myth are two separate things and one can separate the possibility of a real person in comparison to the stories that the bible and religion have attached to the person.
I am also not a church goer, nor have I attended one since I was around 5 years old. Though apparently you rather make wild assumptions that hear a valid opinion. I am well past religious and the closest I would come to any form of religion is attributing the stars in connection with giving any planet life.
Just as we also know the names of the assorted Egyptian gods who were also men. Just men who attributed special powers on themselves and made others see them as gods.
As for your reliance on wikipedia, well that just shows your real level of intelligence. Wiki is about as reliable as reading tea leaves. It is open to anyone altering references and facts. It has no real basis nor historical backing that actual evidence would show.
We know names of a wide number of people from the same time period. This in no way makes jesus any more special than a roman guard though.
As it has been stated though, to many get way to uppity on any topic that gets close to religion or politics. Admitting one without the other is easy and very historically logical.
I suggest you keep quoting others and forget thinking for yourself. It obviously does not work for you and I apparently made the mistake of asking you to say something yourself. Admitting that a man named jesus existed and was spreading his view of religion around is a far cry from accepting any Christian idea's about him or even accepting faith as a whole.
I am done with you as you could not keep a normal line of conversation and debate going and had to resort to name calling and wild assumptions about myself.
