That's the way it's been, that's the way it should be. Even when I managed Taco Bell, the way we worked out Holiday Parties, is that Store A would cover for Store B while they had their party, and vice versa. No store was shut down for the party, or left open unmanned.

in a perfect world, things work perfectly. maybe it hasnt been an issue until now, and now, they will put a control in to prevent it from happening again. maybe they have mods that werent on gfy cause they were sick, or went on vacation, or whatever the stars aligned and this one time, there were no mods available for 24 hours
this isnt taco bell, a message board is largely self-managing, at least in my opinion the best ones.
lensman and eric have a hands-off approach and im sure there is a directive to not touch anything unless its approved by a select few people
