My God Daughter is having surgery today

Would you all take a moment and pray she'll be ok for me please? She has cervical cancer so they are going to freeze her cervix and hope the cancer cells die in the proses. I don't know much about cervical cancer as I have never know anyone to have it, she only 21 so please pray she'll be ok. Unfortunately she's been sick most of her life, she had tubes put in her ears and they were "lost" for about 5 years and then her inner ear bone was eaten away from the tube being stuck in there so she lost her hearing in that ear at age 16. The antibiotics they had her on have ruined her teeth, she has white spots on them. She now can't take antibiotics because she has been given way to many different kinds for way to long.

My thoughts and prayers are with her. Just so you know...my grandma had cervical cancer. They ended up doing a hysterectomy because she had all her kids, but she has never had a problem since. That was about 35 years ago.

Very sorry to hear this, and I wish her the best.

Does she smoke? Smoking is a major risk factor for ALL cancers.

Nope, she grew up with her mom and I smoking and had to hear us and are coughing. She doesn't do any drugs and only drinks occasionally.

She just got home and they think everything went just fine. She'll have to go back and have it looked at in 6-8 weeks. Thanks everyone.

In her left ear she lost all hearing, she can still hear from her right ear.

My grandma has had the same hearing situation since her early 20's. Other than it meaning that we knew we could get away with things if we talked about it on her 'bad' side life hasn't been impacted by it as much as she thought it would have.

I wish your daughter all the luck she can possibly have.
