Its a malicious virus that deletes all your word .docs, excel files, PDF files, etc.

Also can disable your anti-virus software and changes the windows registry.

It can hide as a trusted digital signature via an activeX coded page.

As I sad on other forum all this Horrible and Teriibale-Destroy-All Viruces are part of Antivirus marketing programm

is it possible that this virus could have started a few days ago on my machine?

I have something that started a few days ago that is shutting down any antivirus program I try and open, it closes regedit and msconfig automatically, and also shuts down IE every now and then...and until I made my hosts file read only it was writing shit into it every day

I am fucked beyond belief right now....I am backing evertything up and formatting today

If its closing AV then thats it for sure. Download the free AV, disconnet inet and check c: or set the pc back to the last backup point

Bitdefender catches it as you can see. Its basically an email with a PIF file.

i am in the process of backing everything up now....I have run Panda, Norton, Avant!, Macafee, spybot, adaware and ms antispyware....nothing has stopped it from running in the background and fucking with shit

I will try bitdefender now if I can get it running, anything I use to try and stop it closes in 5 or less seconds

bitdefender wasnt in the close window list, theres a free trail Id give it a try
