I'd say no.
Wood is organic in nature, and deteriorates over time... if untreated, in a matter of a few years.
I mean, there are exceptions... for example, ancient kauri of New Zealand and the wooden boats at the bottom of the Black Sea... bot most of those have had some sort of protective seal over them - I can't think of any examples of exposed wood lasting even a thousand years, let alone twice that.
Wood be cool, though... too bad he wasn't a mason.
