Usually girls think of a test shoot as "getting fucked (or whatever) for free" they don't want any part of it.
Fat, bald, hairy, greasy guys employ this technique to get laid and it works for them, occasionally!!!!
We don't do test shoots. It's a waste of valuable time.

We do not pay for a Test Shoot. A test shoot with us just involves the person getting naked and doing some poses to get his camera angles, see if he is hot on camera and make sure he doesnt start freaking out being naked. We dont even use the pictures. I have turned down a few hot dudes because they tried to dictate to me how much they wanted and how much time they will "allow" me to see them naked.... makes for easy screening, u definatly know u do not wanna work with this person. Test shoots are important, some ppl just do not look good on camera and im not one to be surprised on the day of the actual shoot and have this person i never seen naked, take his clothes off and be all scarred up and have a lil 2 inch penis...

I would say 98% of the girls that I have worked with I have had test shoots for, or atleast they created a movie of themselves and gave it to me.
If a girl wants to model for real she will have a portfolio which should include some pics or a video tape.

I assumed that the interview process involved at least a topless shot which would not be paid for.
When I did modeling for stores like JC Pennies and promotional companies or advertisement agencies you had to have a portfolio with pics and such in it that came out of your pocket to make and was never paid for an interview, I do not see why this should be any differant.even ADULTS need TOYS

If you're the first to shoot them then obviously they have no experiance and need the photos, so, they're in no position to demand money just for a stupid little test shoot that will take like 15 minutes. Yea I pay for test shoots. If a model does not have decent photos of herself (and most dont) I will offer it to the ones I am interested in shooting with. I do this for two reasons. It gives me an inexpensive way to get a feel for how well she will take to the camera. More importantly I do it because my competition does not. Sets me apart from all the "wanna-be" shooters in the area.

I spoke to a lot of girls lately from sites as hardcoremodeling.com and other job boerds and a lot do "test" shoots and casting couches.
A smart producer/photographer will always pay something to the model and document that, you don't want free content and then have the girl freak out when you use it. Paid is paid, when it's free it becomes a whole different story.
I saw something on E! last night about "stars" that try to hide things they did in the past and the ones that never got paid won their cases. A good example, Madona however got paid 50 bucks for some nude shots back in the day and lost that case.
Always pay something.. just my
