    "Death to Denmark" and "Death to France."

    It seems the peaceful muslims are at it again.

    This time, they want to kill all the citizens of Norway, Denmark, France and Germany b/c a newspaper published an accurate drawing of muhammad.

                                                                  Turns out muslim priests living in Denmark have travelled around the Middle East saying that the those drawings of Muhammed were nothing and much worse things were printed in the media in Denmark daily.
                                                                  The Danish goverment will look into if its possible to deport those people.

However, part of my liberal nature is freedom of press and speech. I find those those to be too valuable to be bullied about. The threats to bomb the EU if Denmark and other countries don't offer offical statements of regret pisses me off.

I don't like insulting people either but parody is part of free media and is part of what western cultures do rather than threaten to kill each other when we get pissed off.                                                                                                                                                   One of the problems is that some clerics from Denmark have travelled around the Middle East saying that the drawings isn't the worst and that there have been drawings portraying Muhammed as a pedo and every day more hateful articles articles are published everyday.
                                                                                                                                                  One of them says to Danish tv that he is working on calming things down and the next day he is on Arabic television saying things are only getting worse.

                                                                                                                                                  This could have been stopped months ago but the Danish goverment refused to get involved in any way so thats why its been allowed to escalate. I wonder how this will end.

                                                                                                                                                                                                  As the article points out, it is against Islamic law to make ANY depiction of the prophet Muhammad - good, bad, or indifferent - because it might give rise to the worship of idols. While the Christian churches have had battles and violence over iconoclasm, for the most part we stopped killing and violence over it about 500 years ago. That is a pretty good indication of how far behind the western world Islamic countries are in terms of their social development.
