200 Blogs - A Fair Price

Hey Folks,

What would you say a Fair price is... for Production of 200 blogs?

All they require is:

- Basic template design (raw text, no graphics) for all 200
- Automatic RSS Feed for Posts (text and images)
- Posts roll off the home page out
- A links sections managable through a database
- Setup on a remote server

We checked around and there does not seem to be anything that can handle that amount of blogs. Wordpress will Not do.

Blogs Organizer can and does all that and more.

What you need is a combination:

Blogs Organizer - as blog backend
Blogs Automater - Posts your feeds with tons of possible modifications to your blogs. Also, this will not stress your server too much compared with using only Blogs Organizer in order to feed your blogs with rss feeds.
Links Organizer - Organizes your link trades and can also rank the hardlinks by incoming traffic.

I use Blogs Automater since a few weeks and I think there's nothing better out there atm! Also the coder is very helpfull and when you suggest a cool feature he'll most likely include it in the next updates...

I agree use BO and just get someone to build you 20 templates, then just use each template on 10 blogs.

It's fairly easy to set up blogs withBO, it's anywhere near as time consuming as setting them up in WP. Templates are also very easy to make for BO.

Blogs Organizer is da shit, running 202 blogs on (I think ) 7 hosts !!! You are basically presented with one "control panel" from where you add posts to ALL your blogs, edit them, delete them, play with the templates, manage your link trades, add categories, manage your RSS feeders, you name it.

Why would you want to use RSS feeds though? I pay for my posts (write eome myself of course) and I firmly believe this is the way to do it, RSS fed blogs got me nowhere

then 200 designs??? use 20 simple basic templates if you must but 200? what for? what makes you money is TRAFFIC

hosting - again its your blogs and your money but I would spread the blogs on 10 ips (or more of course) if I were you, take a look at seohosting, great prices - 10 C calss ips for 67 bucks. Unless you plan on trading traffic or feeding the blogs from your own network your only option of building traffic is link trading, having the sites spread on different ips helps big time, trust me on this one

I suggest You create own database of morphing text which can be used for feeding Your blogs. Create one morphing post => spread it to Your all blogs (every post will be unique)..

Whenever I see a product web site like this I usually run away ... but I'll take your word for it and check it out, thanks for the tips.

Wordpress with Wordpress MU is used to power Wordpress.com.. which according to them powers hundreds of thousands of blogs, so why couldn't it handle 200 blogs?

I've got it running about 50 blogs right now myself. It gives you a fairly centralized control panel and you could just edit the sidebar to include a linktrade script or import a blogroll via wp-links-opml.php.

I agree the sites look cheap and the control panel doesn't have a killer design either but you can simply take a look at the demo...

yeah, Blogs Organizer can handle the 200+ blogs network you Bond need. I tried making the script as lightweight as possible. about 80% of your blogs are static pages, the rest use some lightweight mysql queries.

if someone has any specific questions or need more details about any my script, you are welcome to ask

I know you want to keep it on the boards likely to get a good price and I can't blame you for that.

If you don't find anyone to do this, hit me up on ICQ (295858) or better yet get your prices here then hit me up to see what I can offer. I can very likely give you a very good deal, but I don't like to discuss prices on a forum.

I can give you a delivery time of roughly 30 days depending on a few factors, but thats just simple details that would need to be worked out.

Only real questions I have, that you might want to clear up.

Templates, do you expect diffrent templates on each blog or would something like 20 templates across 10 blogs each work?

2#
Will the domains be set up on a server ready to go or are you wanting the blog builder to set up domains on your server and or add sub domains to existing domains.

3#
RSS feeds.. Will you be supplying the feeds you want to be used or are you expecting the blog builder to find feeds for each blog?

btw I'd only be interested in this job, if you are willing to use Blogs Organizer. I wouldn't touch it if this is a Word Press job as that would be way to time consuming for both set up and for you keeping the scripts updated with patches.
