the last 3 out of 4 times i've gone to a nice place here in l.a. to eat the service was terrible. it reflected in the tip.
serving is a dying art. no one gives a shit anymore. everyone in hollywood wants to be an actor and could care less about you or your steak.
if you're a good waiter, you'd get a good tip from me, but its not a guaranteed thing. tips are given accordingly. if i get excellent service i will tip sometimes over 30%. if its bad. i will normally write 1.00 on there with a

face so they know that they suck bad. (thats in the cases where they dont blame the kitchen, which is common). if they project terrible attitude and service level, you shouldn't be a waiter.
