    AdSense Make Ad Units Less Clickable

    The short of it is that AdSense making changes to text ads so that instead of getting clicks when people click anywhere on an ad unit (including the background of ads) clicks will only work (and we?ll only get paid) when there is a click on an actual title or URL in the ad.

                              yeah its not all ads yet. also they redid the ad code recently where you can go in and change the color and things without having to regenerate the code. Those ads seem to be effected by the new zones, at least for me. The old code still has the bigger click zone.

                                          Seems fair that you shouldn't get paid (and advertisers shouldn't get charged) for clicks that weren't intentional.

                                                          Good for the advertiser. Sucks for the publisher.

                                                          Quick solution: Placement (but don't use same font or size text -- so you don't get banned ) near resource listings and link mini-descriptions.
