    Who here wears glassess?

    I just got a pair tonight. First time wearing glassess ever. I'm curious, they are killing my fucking head. I think the part that goes over my ears is too short cause its like killing my temple and shit...

    Is this common? I think I need a better fitting frame or something....

      funny thing is... if i push them right up agaisnt my face they stop hurting my head.... i think its the way it is sitting on my head... hmmmm

                  it will go away, i fuckin hated my glasses when i got them gave me pressure feeling but after a few weeks i dont even notice them

                  and i dont get headaches from looking at the monitor all day..

                  keep wearing them it will pay off in the end.

                      right now no.... I only need them for reading at the moment.... But since I work online, thats liker 24/7... LOL

                      But yea i think the frame isnt long enough and fitting on my ears right... not sure... I guess I got a big head... ahhaha

                          Get them adjusted. Mine bothered me for about a week and then I got used to it. Been wearing them for like 5 years.

                              so you really think i gotta just get used to them? wierd... maybe ill give it a few days n shit...

                              I can see the difference on the laptop here already... i take them off and i cant even focus on the screen... but everything else is in perfect focus...

                                  also a good style of glasses for a bigger guy like yourself is the phat farm, classy style glasses very light and for a person with a wider head..

                                                  Yes, new glasses take time to get used to. Both on your ears, fit, and your eyes to adjust. Every time I get a new pair, I have to go through it.

                                                      They'll loosen up over your ears in a few days. If they don't, take them back for an adjustment -- it's usually quick and shouldn't cost you anything.

                                                          Take'm back and get them adjusted...that should fix the problem. I wear glasses and contacts (wearing the contacts less as I get older). The more you wear the glasses the more you'll get used to them but if they are hurting real bad...something is not right

                                                              I got my first pair in january while in the USA, (from Walmart of all places) I had my eyes tested and got the glasses from the store directly outside, once I selected the frames they fitted the lenses and the frame to my head shape, even after that they still hurt for a week or so but they are fine now, and I don't notice them much at all.

                                                                              They do have eyeglass cleaner (you can buy it in a drugstore), but honestly, after a little while with them, you'll end up just cleaning them on your shirt like the rest of us nerds.
