i will give it this ... very interesting plot and story line, AMAZING detail in shadows and scenery. have played it for a few hours and so far I am hooked ;)

Crysis looks pretty amazing as well, but I fear that it may just turn out to be another Far Cry where you have more control over physics (speed, strength, etc)... Far Cry certainly was fun, and for that reason this would be too even if it didn't have any of the new stuff. I guess I'd just have to actually get my hands on it to see if it's the same with a new twist, or a new game entirely with some old familiarities.Comment

Aw thanks, I wish it were true though. Games are a great past time that I just never have time for. I bought my wife Sing Star this week and rented Guitar Hero 3..... it was the first time I've picked up a controller (or in this case, a guitar and microphone) since July.

putting a game like that on the Wii would be a disgrace due to the lack of power the Wii has. The game would look like total shit. They would have to cut out a lot of things from the game in order for it to even run on the Wii. Hell, even a PC of a person on welfare is 3 or 4 times more powerful than the wii.. If you play Assassin's Creed for an hour, you will probably think it's a fantastic game. But as Assassin's progresses, its dual storylines and repetitive quests begin to grow tiresome. There are so many great individual elements, but they are lost among the myriad of poor decisions from Ubisoft Montreal. Wasting the big twist on the first five minutes of gameplay is a tremendous mistake, but not nearly as damaging as the ill-conceived assassination investigation quests, which get old fast. The exploration aspects of Assassin's Creed and the combat are both plusses in my book. But those two elements are only a small part of the whole. And most everything else in Assassin's Creed is mediocre.Comment

didn't say that the wii sucked. Just saying that there would be no way in hell for the wii to run this game. Metroid is cool, but the whole mario thing is old. I grew up with Nintendo.. I still like nintendo, but at this point I prefer Xbox 360.. More games and much better online service than what the wii or the ps3 has, but if I had to pick 2 systems out of the 3 I would chose the Wii and Xbox 360.
