I remember back when I played party poker a lot, some night I'd have some friends over and we'd be drinking and log in, and start calling stupid shit and playing really recklessly.
And those were often the most profitable sessions.
I always noticed there seemed to be very few preflop/flop laydowns, and a lot more "action hands", as in AA vs. AK vs. straight draw vs. flush draw, to get everyone calling and betting until the river and generate the highest rake... but that's just speculation
My very first night on party poker within about 20 minutes I was dealt 55, other callers had AA and TT.... flop? 5 5 T.
