Usually I can go through a pitcher by myself and just be tipsy...I usually don't drink bottled beer, so I don't know what that equals out to be, and I am too lazy to think right now

wether i like the taste of beer nor can by body handle it good. so i´d say about 3-5 are enough to get me tanked.
that´s why i prefer 40% stuff. i can handle more and you don´t have to pee that often

"Drinks after work" usually ran between 8 and 12 rounds (pints of Guinness for me) before closing time and then 2 or 3 pints of lager if we went on to an Indian restaurant.
These days I rarely drink at all, and between beta blockers, Wellbutrin and hydrocodone, I doubt if I would get past one or two.Comment

depends on what kind of beer and how fast i drink em.
usually about 5 pints of guinness in an hour has me feeling pretty nice.

Well I do not drink anymore, but back in the days it would honestly vary on the kind of beer, and if I ate.
If I drank on an empty stomach, 4-6 and I was ready to pass out. If I ate a meal, pizza, etc. I could handle 10-12. Really just depends on the type of beer, and a number of factors.

I participated in a celebration once where the goal was to finish eight 40's of O.E. in a 16 hour period. This might not sound difficult, but it was - it left some serious casualties in its wake. The inspiration behind all this was the movie Kids where the character Casper spent the whole day drinking forties. We counted how many he went through and decided to dedicate "Casper Day" to him.
The dude that played Casper hung himself in a Vegas hotel room a couple of years ago.
