I don't think Mel Gibson meant to blame the Jews for Jesus' death... Review the movie again. Remember, the killing and death of Jesus was done in order to fulfill the prophecy of prophet Isaiah. It was all part of God's great plan for humankind. There is no one, definitely not one, to blame.
