Don't generalize about an entire group of people. There are good muslims just like there are bad ones. Same as Christians, Jews and Athiests.

for instance one local mosque leader (I think the term was 'imam') was caught on videotape raising funds for terrorist groups and even urging the killing of jews. he's being deported now, yet even after all this evidence of his being such a scoundrel he's still getting widespread support from the muslim community in the area! His supporting of terrorist groups and advocacy of violence weren't previously known to his local mosque (supposedly), yet after they found about it they still stood behind him. now why on earth WOULDN'T rational people mistrust that group after seeing their support of the idiot?
