Not totally accurate.

I think it was season 3 or 4 where the staff (in answer to that very concern) started a scene off with Jack emerging from a restroom after a flushing sound was heard, and wiping his hands on a towel, if memory serves.

He also started 2-or-so seasons ago (the one after the Chinese embassy incident) off by eating breakfast, didn't he?

...but, yeah - if you're only counting _ONE_ inaccuracy in that series, you're not looking hard enough.

What I want is that fucking "enhance" button that all of CTU's computers seem to have.

It definitely wouldn't last that long. My Razr starts dying after 3 text messages. Without cellphones, that show couldn't even exist.

That's false. He does drink. You see him have water sometimes. Don't forget ... during an episode, you cut to and from parts of the show ... so, for 15 mins you may be watching the CTU section, and then cut back and you're watching Jack out in the field ... so in fact, during that time, because it's 'realtime' you wont see what he was doing.
