Yeah man, I think you had probably seen my Beemer when I was still driving it. What model/body style was the one that you had? If I remember correctly you also drove a Jeep for awhile.
BEEMERS totally rock!! They are one of my all time favorite cars. My little 325 fits me like a glove it's definitely a drivers car. In the cockpit all the instruments and gauges are in the perfect position for the driver, and with it being lowered with Bilstien racing suspension it really hooks up nice on the road. I can literally drive sideways down the road and then ease off on the accelerator a bit and bam it will pretty much straighten itself out. They handle pretty good with stock suspension but it's like night and day when compared with the bilstien's.
I sold a bone stock beemer to a buddy a few years back and he did a few mods. when he got it. Exhaust, ram air with K&N filter charger and a few others pretty much on par to what I have on my current beemer, but without the suspension upgrade. I had the opportunity to drive the car a few months back and although being quite a fun ride I could really notice the difference the suspension makes and not just in cornering. Acceleration with the stock suspension isn't as snappy due to body roll and it doesn't hook up nearly as nice in the corners.
