I have out patient surgery scheduled.

Hopefully it remains out patient at least. They did call today and freak a little about my blood level (anemia) even though I warned them. So I may have to go for a transfusion first or I hope to gawd not have to go and stay 1-2 days for the surgery.

Found a wonderful small mass (tumor) inside of my bladder. Urologists say it is a common thing for those that use a catheter often or get frequent bladder infections. Very solid odds it is not the bad type of cancer, then even with the slim odds that there are it seems it was caught early and it is still within the walls of my bladder.

So come the 14th I will go visit them. They will insert a camera with light and tools into my bladder and then proceed to remove the mass. I requested a picture of it. Then they will send it off for a biopsy to make sure its not bad. Hopefully this has been the main source of my new pain I have had since my last hospital stay when I was pissing blood clots.

Oh they also send you home from pre-op with a whole schedule of when and how to use these industrial sized baby wipes the night before after your shower and the day of with no shower.

I think I should schedule a gurney ride home, not sure yet.

Good luck dude, hopefully it's nothing more. Speaking of catheters, ouch? Never had one but saw an insertion on YouTube and there's gotta be another way around that.

        Gotta be

I wish you all the best, really... I've been a cancer patient for a while, not even able to speak for two years and it is not fun at all. But you are not a typical cancer personality so I am sure everything will work out.
          Good luck!
