    Eat Yo Spinach!

    One simple way to increase your intake of leafy greens, is to use spinach instead of lettuce in sandwiches and salads.

    It's very simple...the next time you make a sandwich, try substituting spinach for lettuce. Try adding spinach to salads too.

    Spinach contains many more vitamins and minerals than does lettuce. It is rich in folic acid, vitamin C, magnesium, manganese and Beta-carotene (which has been shown to help aid in the prevention of several types of cancer.)

                                          Right on Exxxotica. I love spinach.... sometimes I'll go on binges and make it every night for a week. Go figure.

                                          I've been trying to get healthy working out every day, doing arobics and kick boxing workouts to Denise Austin....someday, I want to be able to work out and carry on a conversation the whole time like she does.



                                          And eat your apricot seeds, they are found inside of the hard pit of the apricot. Studies show that if you eat 7 of those a day, your entire life, your chances of getting cancer are about zero.

                                          Cultures who have diets rich in "Vitamin B17" have no cancer. I just got some from a website in England, and have been eating mine. (Dad died of cancer last year) and my boyfriend too, he has been fighting cancer for 6 years, was told 6 years ago he had 6 months to live....still around today.

                                          Whoooo....don't get me started, I've done WAY too much research on this lately.

                                              I just found out today that a friend's sister has throat cancer...she's only 26 :-/

                                                  Cancer hits a lot of people.

                                                  I had a friend that died of Brain Cancer about a month ago. He was actually a fairly healthy person too.

                                                  Im not trying to say that living a clean lifestyle is a cure all, but if it improves your chances, I think it's worth it.

                                                  Plus you will just feel better about your self too.

                                                          Wow, what a study! Where did they find all those people that had eaten 7 apricot seeds every day all of their lives? It wasn't one of those ones that had like 3 people in it, and 1 got hit by a bus at 39 years of age and the other 2 are health freaks with no family history of cancer at all (and died of heart attacks anyway), was it? Nah.... didn't think so
