    Verotel/TicketsClub drops domain registration requirement

GOOD NEWS for small and beginning webmasters!

It is no longer required to register your domain name with Verza Domain Depot for a TicketsClub account (never was required for Verotel PRO).

Was that requirement for new accounts only? My old ticketsclub account was not registred at verza

It's good they came to their senses on that one ... screening webmasters, monitoring websites, and taking swift action in cases of abuse is the better way anyways.

As stated earlier, that is a very wise decision on your company's part. Offering it as a option is fine; mandating it as a condition to use your service would only have caused a large loss in business, as many webmasters would not have been comfortable moving their site registrations.

I just wish that Verotel could support billing for PPV sites, as CCBill does with its token system and Paycom does directly with its product code system, on a third party basis. This model of site billing is only going to become more common, and the only way to bill PPV through your company seems to require setting up a Pro account.

It was supposed to be a requirement for all TicketsClub accounts but never got out of the starting blocks.

ha ha, a friend of mine who is also on ticketsclub went absolutely batshit over this, even though I tried to tell him it was no big deal either way (Always could put the member area and join page on a throwaway url). I think he gave some poor support dude an earful
