Well, Sparta didn't have Pederasty as Athens did, but that doesn't necessarily mean it wasn't homosexual.
Whether or not it extended into adulthood is up for debate, but I think you could at least agree that it was rampant in the barracks of the youth, as they were undergoing training, and had no real contact to speak of (except maybe a stolen night here or there) with members of the opposite sex.
From there, I do- as many do - extrapolate that the society was homosexually oriented, even with the void of much contemporary evidence one way or the other.
