You mean a series of great and sometimes lucky sea battles where an Athenian general had organized a combined land and sea stance where using his political skills was able to enlist a small number of his spartan enemies and a few thousand other troops to help defend Athens from the Persians in that narrow trail since they were still butt hurt about Marathon. Then after the Spartans and several hundred other soldiers got surrounded and ass raped since they no longer had a very simple tactical advantage. The navy cleared Athens and allowed it to be burnt only to then fuck up the Persians by performing more naval battles via a series of very well thought out battle plans.
