depends on why you want to incorporate.

How would anyone ever have a clue as to what the best place is when they know nothing about what your aims are or what you intend to use the corp for?

Depends what you want to incorporate for. Is a foreign corp needed? Is it for processing or you just want a corp to limit liability in Canada? Best places are relative

If you want your biz spread more and out of Canada, the best place is going to be one which covers a lot of what you are ultimately aiming to do, whether or not privacy is an issue and having a jurisdiction which is stable.

With Canadian citizenship, you are in a good position to "go global" and get benefits in addition to limited liability.

Gotta assume a lot here because don't know where you are heading - it may be wise to incorp in an area which could ultimately provide you with revenue other than dollars (or at least less dollars and more other currencies)? In that case it would prob be worth looking at the Euro Visa banking region which would enable TPP (third party processing) and other types, in the EU.

If the corporation is composed of just YOU or a family member, incorporate in your own state. People only incorporate in Delaware if the corporation is huge and there's a change many shareholders might feel that the management or controlling shareholders are "oppressing" them

The reason DELAWARE is where giant corps incorporate is because of its very promanagement/pro controlling shareholder case law.

Really might depend on billing, banking, tax needs. This would depend on if you run a paysite and need CC Processing, and if you make over 1 mil / year you might want to consider more tax efficient location than Canada - which can be done legally by choosing a country that has a tax treaty with Canada (which can mean that you pay their corp. tax rate instead of ours which might be 1 - 2%, plus some personal taxes when/if you bring money home). Best to ask an accountant though, I'm no expert.

Also, make sure the location that you incorporate is adult-friendly, seems about half of offshore countries don't like adult business...

Agree ... there are probably other aspects to consider and better done off a board.

That's similar to people asking about "adult friendly banks" shake. Never noticed any bank with ads claiming they are adult friendly

Generally offshore laws are fine for adult operations and far better than "onshore". Common sense prevails.

Nevada is the next gen Delaware with more different privacy rules. Just an idea.
